Its a great gun one of the best autoloaders out there. My fiance likes to shoot mine. I would take her to check out and handle several .22's first to see which one fits her best. Try bolts, semi's and and levers. The bolt guns would be a good choice if you want to teach her the fundamentals of shooting and hunting. Whatever gun fits her best and she is comfortable with will make a good choice.
