I have got to get a tree stand set up season opens in 3 weeks. As some know already I am new to bow hunting. I can only afford one stand for right now. Most of the trees around here are going to require a hang-on stand, but a few I could use a climbing stand.

Now to my question how hard if at all possible would it be to say get a set of Lone-Wolf climbing steps and then hang a climbing stand? That way I could have the climber if I had a tree that I could use it on or just hang it with the sticks if I could only use a typical crooked tree that we have around here.. The climbing stands also look so much more comfortable for all day sits.

This may not even be a good idea at all I am not real sure how the climbers hook up to the tree exactly..
