I own a Gortex Supprescent Jacket...it is absolutely outstanding...Dry, silent, Scent control...and you can put it in the dryer which is huge.

Now It was my understanding that the premise behind supprescent was that the carbon was trapped between to layers of gortex so it could not escape. Now I see all this supprescent out there that is not waterproof....what gives?
