RE: eliminating my peep sight
I have a No-Peep on my setup. I'll upload a picture when I get home from work unless someone else posts one first. You still use your sight pins the same way as you would before. The No-Peep is just an alignment device. The first difference you'll notice is that you're not looking through that tiny hole anymore. You can setup the No-Peep so that you look to one side of the bow string or the other. The No-Peep is in your peripheral vision when you're looking at your sights so you still have the visual reference even if you're concentrating on aiming your pin. I tried shooting without a peep but added the No-Peep a couple weeks later. It's shown me some inconsistancies I have with my grip and my tendancy to occasionally torque the bow.
