If they are freshwater drum, minis as well as crawlers will work good.

If they are carp, I suggest a good doughball.

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
8 tablespoons of sugar
1 bottle (16 oz) karo syrup
1 fl oz strawberry flavor or 1 box any flavor jello
1 bag of yellow cornmeal or 1/2 corn meal and 1/2 cornflakes or frosted flakes.

Preparation:
Mix ingredients and then put in the freezer for 1 hour before using them
