me and my dad went hunting up on the north end of Vancover Island near a town called Woss adn we decided to check out a group of slashes where i got one of my deer last year. so we go through a couple and see nothing and we get ti the end of the road and there is sorta a "Y" in the road with slashes on each side so we split up adn im checking my slash then i here a shot then another shot so i rush over to the slash and see my dad him standing over a nice buck so i walk up and all the sudden i see a deer walking so i put up my binoluclars and see its a buck so i slowly go after it not wanting to scare it and it dissapers for bout 1min and then i see it about 150 yards away on the top of a hill and all i could see is its head and nech so i shot and it just droped and i went up to it and see it still kicking around and so i gave it a finshing shot. The size of my deer was just a 1 by 1 but good eating and the size of my dads was a 3 by 3 a real bueaty of a deer with long g-1s on both side.
