I would suggest Traping it alive... So if it is a new animal the state wildlife department can study it.. Some pics would help... A game cam and some bait.... A box trap would work good for trapping it.. Maybe you should call the game warden and talk to him to see if he has any idea.. The people are there for a reason call them...
