Friends,
If you have one of these neat little guys, then listen up.
My Glendel buck was knocked over by a combonation of wet ground and heavy winds from the last hurricane that decided to carry it's way up the east coast. The poor thing lay out there as I watch the rain pound down him.
After the rain had subsided, I went out and reset the stakes in the ground. Went out this morning for the ritiual shooting.
*zing*
There went the arrow. Straight through the layered foam. My initial thoughts were that this product is a piece of #!~@. Then I went over to the deer and pulled out the layers. As I have a few of the pieces in my hand, I slide them against one another. It was if somebody put baby oil on them, they were so slippery. But it was just water. [:@]
So finally... Here is my helpful hint:
If you have one of these layered target things, don't let water get in between the layers. I was lucky enough to not lose or break an arrow, but others might not be so lucky.
Good luck out there!
