I hunt deer with everything thats allowed here in Ky, except crossbow. I love bowhunting, but I've been hooked on pistols ever since my dad let me shoot his old High Standard 22lr 25yrs ago. From there on, I've been a pistol nut and about ten years ago, I got hooked on T/C's line of handcannons. My favorite is the Encore .308 15inch barrel topped with a Nikon 1.5-5X scope. I've taken a deer at an honest 264yds with this setup. Don't get me wrong, I don't usually take a shot that far off, but the rest was rock-solid and it just felt right, so I took it. Had it been a wall-hanger, I'd probably not have taken it, but I wanted his genes out of the herd. Like bowhunters, pistol-hunters ARE a different breed!![8D]
