Default RE: Hawgs Limited Synthetic Scents

Fritz,

I am pretty good friends with Kevin Kreh, even though our friendship is only via telephone conversations and email I have spent a lot of time visiting with Kevin and using his products over the past 7 years.

I have had great successes with Hawgs Vanishing hunter and scent products. Several of my bucks over the past 7 years have responded positively to the products, from mock rubs in early season of Sept to mock scrapes and even drag rags with rut formula in Oct, and November.

Right now in early season I have mock rubs set below all of my stand sites, If nothing else the forhead gland scent serves as a pretty decent cover scent. I often mist the air into bedding areas with the forehead gland scent and doctor licking branches on every trip to a stand...

As for the urines (mock scrapes) I like how they work this time of year and especially once october rolls around and bucks start hitting the scrapes even more aggressively.

The Buckfever RUT formula works great for cover scent, mock scrapes and even decoys. I like it on a small buck decoy with a rattling and grunting scenario.

If you make mock scrapes I suggest you follow Hawgs limited application process in regards to being clean and scent free while creating the scrapes... goodluck

since 98 I have killed at least 1 buck every year some years two all of which I have at least incorperated the Vanishing hunter. Most of the time I incoperate at least one of his scent products in every hunting set up. By no means is any scent product a CURE all..they arent but if used right I think they can help a bow hunter stack the odds in his favor even more. Good luck..
