Default RE: turkey call

There are a numberof different type calls, made by different companies that a Beginner could start with. Calls come in a couple versions ,Friction type ,(Box and slate) Air type (Mouth and Tube) Most begginners like the push type box calls as they are fairly straight forward to use , or with a little practice A slate and Peg (Striker)style call. If you want a little more challenge the mouth call is one call that everyone likes to try, because of a hands free calling style.

QuakerBoy Game calls seem to be the Call company that I tend to like, but you have a number of different Companies out there that make much the same calls.

QuakerBoy's Easy Yelper is a push button type call
The Little One Sider is another
The Triple threat is a great frition type call
The Beginner's Double is one of the easyest starter mouth call for the first timer.

In the Fall you will use alot of yelping in your calling , but it is also a common practice to Kee-Kee with your calls in the fall. Getting a call that you can master this call would be agreat advantage to you. Slate or Mouth calls tend to do this call a little easyer...BT
