Found a beautiful Ruger 1A yesterday in 270 absolutely beautiful. Anyone own one of these and how do they shoot? I had the 1B and 1S.
I've got one in 7X57, a 1976-vintage "Liberty" model. It is a 1 MOAS shooter. I also have a 1H (or is it 1S) in .45/70, which seems to be the same rifle except for the fatter barrel. It is also a 1MOA shooter! I like them!

This is a 100-yard, 3-shot group from the .45/70, shooting a Barnes 400-grain Original Semi-spitzer at a MV of 2270 FPS!
