Acorns and beech nuts have been falling in Maine and New Hampshire for better than 3 weeks now. It seems early to me but the deer don't seem to be bothering with them yet. It may be because all I have on my properties are red oaks but they are what is predominately in the area I hunt. As the other food sources dry up I'm sure I'll see more sign around the mast producing trees. 2.5 days and counting
