Well maybe I should not say "No chance" but I would much rather prefer to shoot against people with equipment that at least is close to the same in performance as mine. My recurve was shooting slower and with more arc to the arrows than some of the longbow shooters that I was shooting with yet I was shooting against streamlined target bows with all the latest gadgets.
Or maybe I am just looking for a good reason to buy another bow
