I love the hornet. Little more umph than a 22mag, but not as fast as a 223. Great gun for 100 yard shots. Little overkill for squirrel, and might travel some distance while shooting into the air. I would stick with the 22LR for squirrel. Makes a heck of a fall turkey gun.
