B5, too much of anything is not good. You can't really tell how much fertilizer and lime to apply until you take a soil sample and have it anaylized. Whoever does this for you will tell you the approximate amounts of nutrients to apply. This scientific adventure can save you a lot of time and money. If you do it right, you can avoid a lot of disappointment too. There are recommended amounts of seed that you plant and the guy that you buy it from should be able to tell you the application rate.
