I have never heard this term used to describe something good? Then again I don't watch fishing shows either. You have to remember most of those fishing shows are southern guys I think. They tend to have a different language and a lot of words don't mean the same thing. Every region of the U.S. differs slightly in word meaning and ufinisms (spelling?) Here in MI and OH we call a big deer or trophy a "Hog" among other things. I guess that could be taken in the same way as "slob" would. Fish we call "keepers" or "monsters". Or words I can't even fake on this forum for fear of breaking the rules.
