Actually Briman, Ford, does have a Marketing department that do track customer feedback and requests. Ford is a huge contributor to ISO and several other quality tools, that my and several other companies take very seriously. Requesting an entire vehicle might be taken with a grain of salt, but a change to one piece of a vehicle would be tagged and recorded. And if enough of the feedback warrants it, they will study the price impact, and if the numbers are there, then you got a change. Squeaky wheel gets the oil.
