Okay, let's try to figure this out, mathmatically (Pythagorum Theory). Let's assume the following:
You: 15 feet up in tree stand.
Deer: 20 yards away.
15 squared = 225
20 yards (60 feet) squared = 3600
225 + 3600 = 3825
Square root of 3825 = 61.84 (feet)
61.84 feet divided by 3 = 20.61 yards
