742 if your going to buy a remington semi auto look for a good used 742,74 or model 4
i owned one for 10 yrs (742)never shot it . i got a good deal put it away just got it out this year . i'm thinking for michigan deer hunting useing it instead of my 700 bdl's 308 or 7mm mag.but if any remington haters out there have a butt stock or wood set for a 742 BDL that has not been cut down let me know . rifle was good deal cause about 3/4 of an inch cut off the but stock it still shoots but scope is close
