East Texas, just got on 1300 acre lease last wk. I have not even seen it, but know a couple friends that have hunted it. It is so hard to find hunting land here, I went ahead and sent the check, sight unseen. It is nearly all thick bottom land, fronting a river. the squirrell and hogs are good, the deer and ducks are only fair. Most of the hunters have concentrated on ducks in the slews because is so thick, so I'll just have to beat the bushes and try to find some feeding/bedding areas or trails. this season I'm mainly trying to learn the place, and maybe by next deer season I'll know more
