Guess I'll follow suit and chime in....
I'm up in the Northwest, Cascade Locks, Oregon right in the middle of the Gorge and Cascades, deer and elk opened last Saturday...
I'm hunting an area with an old orchard loaded with pears and an apple tree that's full of nocturnal bears, kind of big too. Across the street there is a lot of elk sign almost like they had a Mardi Gras in there about a week ago so I set a stand up on a fence line that they have been using. I've also seen a nice buck there off the freeway I'm thinking I'm on his path too, hopefully...
