Default RE: HUNTER CLASS IDEAS

Well this has been an education for many people so far and I think that we can all learn something from the many threads. Here are some facts to consider. As much as we would like to think that this is a large issue these are the facts to consider. During these many threads there has been many suggestions and may facts that we must consider.
There have been 15+ pages of post as of this time and there has been 152 post. One thing you may not realize was that there was only 37 Individuals that made these threads. Considering that there were over 4000 hits on this subject and only 37 people choose to comment should tell us something. At the World this year the hunter class had a total of 523 shooters in the trophy and money round. The number 37 was about 7% of number of shooters in the hunter class at the world. The people shooting in the hunter class at a national level seem to be pretty happy or at least they are the silent majority.
Everyone posting a thread on this subject had all the best intentions as far as they were concerned and that is a good thing. Maybe the 4000 who say nothing need to join this exercise and see if they can contribute to the organization.
At the club level each area may have things that work and don't work. What ever draws new shooters and club members should be the key. If the clubs have problems with membership numbers that would be the first thing to study. Maybe setting up a competitive 3D league with rewards at the end of the year, such as our league, will give people more of a club spirit and competitiviness to build on. The only bad suggestions are the ones that you never hear or try.
Good luck and communications is the key here on the net and many people working together may solve things that seem unsolveable.
