Default RE: The Realtree boys vs. Primos vs. The Drury Boys

Ok, after getting the bug early this year, i've spent a lot of time watching videos. The last one I watched was primetime bucks 8. Those guys are a bunch of goof balls. One of the first hunts I swear that deer's belly was all bloated. It looked like there was a beach ball in his belly. They said it was 'early' october and they left the woods for 9 hours after the hunt. Looked more like 2 days though.

In another hunt they mysteriously don't show the shot when a deer is just standing still and broadside. The first thing you see is the deer running after the shot. I paused and went frame by frame. The shot was behind the rib cage! The arrow is practically sticking out of his leg (with really bad penetration). Broadside, not quartering away either. He did recover the deer but that is the worst shot i've ever seen on a video. Then later on in disk one (i haven't even gotten to disk 2) they show another bad shot. The hunter says he had to shoot when he did because the camera wouldn't have been able to see it had the deer taken one more step. So he takes a terrible shot???? Ugh! My non hunting buddy was watching and just laughing 'are you sure these guys are professionals?

They had so many goof ups on that video (i've only seen disk 1 so far) it was kind of funny. They show one guy ratteling, a buck comes RIGHT in and the guy was too busy talking to the camera to notice. He ends up getting a shot and shooting in front of the deer. it was funny.

I like the primos videos and drury (but I haven't found them on dvd yet). I can't stand realtree and their skits. Thank god for dvd, i just go to the next chapter when t-bone is on.
