I have both the matt black Simmons Aetec and the silver Bushnell Trophy and find that the Bushnell Trophy is better out of the two for optics. The Trophy has an amber finish on the lens and makes the optics a little brighter and also the price is less then the Aetec.
The silver finish on the Trophy is very nice. I can’t really comment on the Weaver v10 although I do have the Weaver Grand Slam 6.5-20 x 40 and find it to also be very nice and clear. The Aetec scope is a good scope and I like the 44mm obj. lens with the 2.8-10 power. I just find the Trophy is well priced for the quality.
If you have your heart set on a silver scope you will be limited on power. Silver scopes don’t come with high magnification unless you want to pay more. You could look at the Nikon Titanium 5.5-16.5 but I’m sure it’s over $300 bucks. You could also look at the Weaver Grand Slam 3.5-10 or the 4.5-14 power. They both come in a sliver finish and are priced a little over $300 bucks. Good luck....
