The light mag load from hornday is a spical disined round to increas the voliciety of a standerd round,

if your gun is in good shape the load should be fine.
they meet the factory spec. for the 270.
I have uses them in my old 30-06 and have had good resulits.



They also have heavy mag loads witch increases volicity of mag over the standerd load.
