Default RE: Official Team 5 (5) Thread

Hey team get this; I was on Kentuckyhunting.com and saw that a guy lived in the area where we have a farm in Butler County. We don't usually hunt there. We just stay in the farm house and hunt a WMA about 15 miles away. Our property is 100 acres but most is cropland and is surrounded by cropland. There are woods across the street but our land doesn't hold much deer. They usually are gone by daylight or come out after dark. Well anyway turns out this guy lives down the road and here is a post from 8/8/4 that talks about our bean field;

"I went to check out a bean field near the house this afternoon and boy did I get a treat. This field lies right on the side of the road. So the first pass by was only to see if there was anything there. When I saw four deer in the field I quickly turned into a gravel drive and got out the ole spotting scope. At about 800 hundred yards away fed a 130" eight pointer, 2 140-150" nine pointers, and a 150-160" 10 pointer. One of the nine pointers was unbelievably massive with his g2's almost touching. You talking about getting the blood to pumping. I am going to go back this week and see if I can get some pics of these bruisers."

I am definitely hunting our land first thing this season!
