My name is Joey. I'm here and getting anxious for deer season to start. This is the first year in the past 3, that I will have a good amount of time to hunt. I'm graduated from college so I don't have a lot of homework except for an occasional class while trying to get my MBA. But I don't work the weekends anymore, and have been hearing of some nice ones being seen around my hunting spots. I see some high-scoring bucks every year, but haven't been able to pull through in the past couple of season. I'm going to try to bowhunt exclusively and have a 9 day hunt planned, starting the 30th of October in Western Ks out in the open plains. There aren't a lot of deer but when you see one, they're usually a brute. Spot and stalking is tough out there, but is a lot of fun, whether it is after a mulie or whitetail, which is roughly a 50-50 ratio out there. Good luck to you guys. I'll be checking in.
