worlds 2004...
Hi ...this is my first time on so bear with me. First, good call on delaying a day...Sat. was beautiful! I've been shooting the Worlds since 1996-- in Flatwoods we had rain...in Peak-n-Peak we had STORMS & fog... much as the same in Snowshoe. However, we still had a good time and came back the following year... the weather is just part of our sport. We hunt in the rain so what's the difference?
Now for the "bad" stuff-- Silvercreek was almost like forgotten stepchild. We received the score postings late, the restaurant wasn't open, the practice butts were pulled early. We would have liked to have stayed "on Top" but it was nice where we were because we were out of all the hub bub. More parking areas could be utilized on "Top".
As far as the Trophy round goes... what's up with the trophies?? I know for a fact acouple years ago if one placed they got a real nice sized plaque... this year it's more like a participation award. For the amount of money the IBO recieves the "trophies" were rather disappointing to say the least.
