Default RE: Wolf ammo

I have used some Wolf ammo in a Bushmaster .223, about 1000 rounds. I didn't have any trouble with it firing or jamming but was not impressed with the accuracy. For the price I guess it's not horrible but if you are shooting a single shot rifle I would at least look at a middle of the line ammo for plinking, .223 ammo is not that expensive in general. Wolf is OK to zip through your AR at a high rate of speed but precision ammo it is not. I did not experience the FTF's reported earlier. What is the rifling twist of your barrel? Make sure you match the bullet weight to the twist, it is important in a .223. If you have the typical production 1:9 twist your rifle will like the 50 to 62 gr loads, if a tighter twist (1:7) your rifle will not like light bullets but will love the custom 69 and 100 gr match bullets, and if 1:11 or slower twist it will only like loads of high speed light weight (under 50gr bullets at least at 3,800 fps or higher MV) Enjoy.
