Triple Se7en cleans up with water actually. I have never had any problem with my sidelocks igniting the stuff. I shot three deer last year using it. I hunted on rainy days and even in the snow, and it worked perfect.

You do want to get out and shoot some of it. I think it acts different then Goex. Also when I was shooting round ball and patch I had to go with a wonderwad between the T-7 charge and the patch because it was smoking (and I mean smoking) the patch. Triple Se7en to me anyway, really cracks instead of booms when you fire it, and the recoil is different. Actually in my inlines I really like the Triple Se7en. The price the stores are charging for the stuff is unreal right now ($26.00/pound), so I order Goex and Swiss by the half case on line since I do a lot of shooting.

If you decide to go with Pyrodex, save your self a few dollars and go with the RS instead of the Select. They claim the select is more uniform and better but to be honest I can not tell the difference. Pyrodex is a nice propellant to use....
