I shoot 3D and hunt with my Carter 2 Special with a D loop on my string. The only disadvantage that I have experience with using this style of release was cold weather! Other than that I will continue to use these hand held releases. As far as it being camo, I always figured... If an animal can see my release, then it saw me a long time ago!
