Cut a piece of sheet-metal to length, take it to a stone and put an edge on it the way you would sharpen your knife. Then find a wood dowel from a hardware store in the appropriate diameter. Once the metal is sharp, wrap the metal around the dowel, pull the dowel out just a bit, and screw the metal, on the fold to the wood. Presto, patch cutter with handle! Not to bad huh?
