Man, this one is getting pretty lively - I thought the .243/6mm controversy was something but this one on the .22s has got it beat hands down!! Maybe we could start one over this - which is better for 'big bodied deer', the .338 wm, 375H&H, or the 45-70, say out to 150 to 200 yards max. Any takers.
