Default RE: Bushnell Legend Vrs. Nikon Prostaff

I can't find in any of the literature I have where a 2-7 is available in the Bushnell Legend. I only see it listed as a 3-9 for this year with either a 40 or 50mm objective. I have handled this scope and I like it alot. It has fully multicoated optics and the Nikon does not. The eye relief is 3.5" on the Bushnell and the Nikon has 3.8". The Nikon is listed as being available in 2-7X32 which is a perfect fit for a muzzleloader. The Nikon is 2" shorter and about 3 ounces lighter. This is the case and Bushnell's are usually longer and heavier than most other comparable scopes. I'm sure that at dawn and dusk the Bushnell with fully coated optics will be a little brighter and clearer. However, for fit and finish on the rifle I like going with the smaller 32mm objective which should provide ample optics for most muzzleloader hunting situations. I am not a fan of huge objectives. If you can't see well enough to place a shot you are either too far away or it's too darn dark! This is my 2 cents worth.
