Well you always should do the preventive maintenance such as waxing etc. If I get my bow wet I just go home and shoot it a few times to shake out the water. Then I take one of those cans of air and blow out every nook and cranny. Then I lube what needs to be lubed with syloclone spray, wipe off the dribbles, blow out the cracks with the air again, shoot it, wipe it down again.
