Ur more than welcome to come down for a hunt. Not sure about a trophy but i can put you on lots of deer where I hunt public - I average about 7 deer within 40 yards every trip. I've seen some good bucks - usually just out of range lol. I'm not allowed to have anyone else with me where I hunt private.
I can also send you an application to hunt another great park here that is only open to limited hunters - Great Deer there!
when you say public do you mean the type of place that i will have to use a climber? because i dont have a climber. and i usually use homebuilt stands or strap on stands, with foot pegs. i know alot of public land they dont like us using hanging stands.
where abouts in central IL are ya? i would love to run down there for a long weekend to hunt with ya. i would have to borrow a truck incase i tag a big one last time i had to duct tape the deer to my car with the sun roof open
