The one Kimber I'm interested in is a copy of the one they are making for the USMC- can't remember the name of it, but its a Series 1 Kimber- which means it won't be for sale in some states[:@] The only thing that turns me off to the Kimbers is the Series II with the Shwartz safety. I'm splitting hairs on this one I know

My Springfield Loaded model runs slick as snot, never jammed on me yet, and is much more accurate than I can shoot it when I use cast lead handloads. Ionly use it for IDPA and IPSC type matches, so accuracy isn't critical- you only need to be able to hit a post card sized target out to 25 yards.
