True, as seen in .40 Glocks blowing up lately- sometimes its a gun design problem.
Its true that gun manufacturers won't do warranty work on guns damaged by defective ammo- so the whole idea of a gun manufacturer not doing warranty work because of relaods is moot. If the front sight breaks on a rifle and send it in, I would categorically deny that I ever shot handloads through it
