Default RE: When do you finalize your setup?

I used to be notorious for making changes and not having things set right until the last minute (or after the last minute). I have shot a few decent 3D scores aiming off or using different pins than the yardage I was shooting. Had enough of that 2 years ago.

My big old backup bow is on and ready, with a no-moving parts rest and all. It is on with broadheads out to 40 yards. Just need some new ACCs to take the guesswork out of the old dinged up ones. It has been ready since late June.

The bow I intend to hunt with is shooting pretty well, but I might have to tweak a bit this week, as the backup is shooting a little more consistantly.[&:]

I should be getting a new bow this week, so I may actually end up using that one, but it is good to know that I have one or two that are ready to do the job in case problems arise. It's also nice, IMO, to have a bow that might be worth all of $75 that shoots well enough that it's risky to shoot 2 broadhead arrows at the same spot at 30 yards. And that is with me shooting.
