it sounds to me that your draw length may not be right if you are fighting to get in line with the center of the target.
Not the case at all, everything locks up perfectly.....just can't hit the center of the spot. If I shoot at a blank target face I can shoot half inch groups just by pickng a 'spot'. The only time it's a problem is with spot type targets. Thanks for the opine though.
When that happens, I tend to try to jerk the trigger, but I can control myself. It's like I'm fighting it off.
I don't jerk the trigger, but like you, it feels like I'm fighting to keep it off the spot....just not intentionally!
