I think we are saying the same thing. Going by manufacturer's numbers, brace=speed. So yeah, it was the speed I was tracking, but when doing apples to apples, I am going to assume higher brace is slower. When I was shopping, the 32 had an advertised speed higher than the OB, and I assumed that was due to brace. The cams looks very similar after all.
And to answer your question, no. I think choosing a slower bow with a shorter brace is objectively dumb.

That is why I changed my mind after reading the Outdoor Life test. I do not live in an area where I can have all the models at my draw shot through a chrono, so for now, that test, and what people post on these sites is about as good as I am going to do.
