I have never hunted with the carbon express so i will not comment , bu ti have hunted with the Goldtip and killed a bunch of deer with them gettin pass thru's with all but 2 or 3 .
i switched to the A/C/C 3-49 last season and that will be my last season , i took a really nice 12 point with that arrow that dressed out at 240 lbs. however i felt that arrow is too lite. so this year i am going tohunt with the new Easton ST Axis 340 which so far i really like , it is very smooth , plenty fast , weighs 9.5 grains per inch so is plenty heavy enough has a good FOC and flies like a bullet. so i guess with all that said if you are set on carbon express or the gold tip go with the gold tip or just give the Axis a try .
