Over the shoulders!

I did watch my husband create a backpack effect (for lack of a better word lol) He threaded the legs through one another and it acted as a strap over his shoulders. I've also seen him thread a line through the nostril of the deer and drag it that way.
In a pinch, he's quartered the deer on the spot and took it out that way. I have to add here, though, that we hunt Sitka Black Tail and they are quite abit smaller than many of the white tail that I had seen while living south.
It's always nice to spot a deer out in the woods -that's isn't too far from the rig. Especially true if you are hunting moose!
