I drag with a 1" thick rope usually less than a 1/4 mile, to my lawn tractor. I double the rope wrap around the neck back through itself so I pull with a double rope. Two seasons ago I got 2 - 200 lb deer and could not pull them over the rock walls, they are 4-5 feet high. Had to get help. Fortunately its private land and there is no steeling. With the big uns I drag 50 yards or so and take a break as in go slow. I am always happy the next day that I didn't have a heart attack. Its like a free stress test.
