If you are talking about the PA Pellet flint I think any year of that model is the new lock. I was looking at a deerhunter last night at Dick's Sporting Goods and I see what some guys were talking about as far as the frizzen and pan being tiny. Not so with my PA Pellet. My gun looks comparable to a TC compared to the deerhunter. And the PA Pellet has the better Truglo fiberoptics too. The deerhunter and the PA Pellet are apples and oranges.
PA Pellet has removeable breech plug too. Go to D&R sports online and look, good prices. Go to Traditionsfirearms.com for good pics. As far as your pistola, I don't know if they put a better lock on that or not.
