Default RE: How long does it take in your area to start seeing deer?

It depends on where I'm hunting. On the farm I usually see deer right from the git go. Last year on opening day of bow season I shot a doe that dressed out at 115 at 0655 in the morning. There were 6 others with her. I got down and took care of her and got back in my stand at 0830 and sat and waited for a nice buck to complete the day. I sat there until 1200 and saw deer about every 20 - 30 min. I got back in the stand at 1530 and started to see deer at 1600 up until dark.

Hunting public land I usually don't start seeing deer until about 0730 - 0800 up until about 1100. Then again from about 1630 until dark
