I used to drag them out by their head gear or by their head (Does). Since I killed a massive 9 pointer a few years ago that took me 4 hours to get out a mile i have invested in a deer cart. It has been a definite life saver. It goes over everything in sight and snow is no issue. The only other thing I use is a FORD F150, for the deer I kill on the farm.
