RE: Antler restrictions: another view
One thing I find funny is all the folks saying "why should you tell me what's a trophy, or what I can shoot". Well, the same reason you're told you can only shoot so many a year, at certain times during the year. The same reason you have had to shoot bucks with 3" or greater antlers the past hunting seasons. What's the different about telling you it has to have 3pts per side? They have no answer for this. If everyone did what they want, there'd be no deer left. If someone has a different opinion about how the health of the herd could be improved, I'm all ears, but to whine just to whine, and complain about being "told what I can shoot" holds no water.
BTW, the guy works for BUCKMASTER's magazine, so I guess he's an expert at guided hunts over feeders behind fences, LOL.
Actually, the guy had some well thought out ideas, but to assume he has some automatic credibility because he writes for anyone, is hilarious. I should put a title or two before my name, maybe some of these guys would hold what I write up as gospel.
