I took a buffalo last March on a working cattle ranch in Texas & it was quite an experience. Not a walk in the park for sure. I took mine the end of my 2nd day on a 4 day bowhunt. I have heard of many who say you just go out & take your pick-not the case where we hunted.
I took a est. 900# cow & the meat is delicious. My hunt cost $800 & the buthchering was $185 & I got a little over 300#s cut & wrapped.
